Inkling Entertainment also believes strongly in the creative power of the arts, music, and literature. That's why we put on art shows that are specifically designed for junior art lovers. At the shows we exhibit some of the original art created for our various books along with our artists' sketchbooks. That way visitors are introduced not only to the final art piece, but also to the creative process. We also put on drawing lessons for kids during the events.

The creator of Penny and Polo and founder of Inkling Entertainment, Jay Sopp, brings with him impressive credentials to the company. For instance, he spent several years working for Humongous Entertainment in Seattle where he was one of the creative forces behind characters such as Putt-Putt, Freddie Fish, Pajama Sam, and Spy Fox.
